How We Started

3+ Years of Driving the Red Sea Coast

Marsa Reef Taxi started as a one-car operation — a single Toyota minivan and a driver who knew every pothole between Marsa Alam Airport and the resort hotels south of town. That driver is still with us today.

Over the years, word spread among divers, backpackers, and resort guests who wanted a reliable, fair-price alternative to overpriced hotel transfers and unreliable local cabs. We built our fleet, trained our drivers, and never lost the personal touch that made people recommend us to their friends.

Today we serve hundreds of guests every month — from solo travelers arriving at 3 am to German dive groups heading to Luxor for the day. Every trip is private. Every driver is vetted. Every price is agreed before you get in the car.
