A sheltered protected bay with pristine coral, friendly hawksbill turtles, and hardly another visitor.
Marsa Nakari is a sheltered natural bay within a protected coastal reserve, which makes it one of the cleanest and quietest snorkelling spots on the Egyptian Red Sea. The fringing reef runs along both sides of the bay in outstanding condition — dense coral gardens, shimmering shoals of glassfish, and gentle hawksbill turtles that seem completely at ease around snorkellers. The bay is calm enough for kayaking and paddleboarding, and shallow enough for cautious swimmers to enjoy comfortably with a mask. Because it sits inside a reserve, there is no sunlounger culture, no vendors, and almost no other visitors — one of those rare Red Sea places that still feels genuinely wild. A wonderful choice for guests who love nature at its most peaceful.
